Election Season

We have choices in North Adams this year. There is a Mayoral race between incumbent Jennifer Macksey and challenger Scott Berglund. And thirteen candidates for our nine city council seats; seven incumbents and six newcomers.

It probably goes without saying: the people who hold public office have huge influence over what public business gets addressed, and how, and whose opinioins are regarded.

Please do your best to learn about our candidates before the election, then vote!

• Wheel Estates is hosting three meet and greet events.  On Wednesday, 9/24, incumbent mayoral candidate Jennifer Macksey. On Wednesday, October 1st,

  the six new city council candidates. And on Wednesday, October 8th, Scott Berglund, the new mayoral candidate.  Each of these events will start at 6PM, in the Wheel Estates Rec Hall.
